Andrzej Borowski

Andrzej Borowski – one of the most recognizable contemporary Polish painter – was born in Żywiec PL in 1969. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow at the Faculty of Graphic Arts. Zbysław Maciejewski, a great Polish painter was his most influential profesor. He obtained his diploma in 1994. In the same year he was awarded in the National Competition “Landscape in contemporary painting”. He is the author of sacral polychromies. He taked part in numerous exhibitions and plein airs in Poland, Greece, Spain, France, Belgium, Japan, the Netherlands, England, Germany and Italy. Borowski presented his works at the Line Art Gent  1995 and 2008, International Art Fair SIAC95 and ‘96 Strasbourg. His paintings are in collections in Europe, the United States, Canada, Japan, New Zealand. He is the organizer of many plein air and a collector of contemporary art.
